Events & Activities

Besides our weekly practices and Mass, we also join with the combined Nativity choir for annual Lenten and Advent celebrations in church. We also sang at the Asian Civilisations Museum during the Vatican Expo in August 2005, as part of the Nativity combined choir.

Our choir also organises activites for our members to bond with one another. We had a retreat in 2003 and 2005, and "The Amazing Race" at Sentosa in 2004. Last Dec 2007, we had our retreat at the Franciscan Massionaries of Mary retreat house along Holland Rd, as well as a carolling programme to visit each other's houses and families.

Last year, as part of our outreach programme, we held a "open house" cum orientation session at the greenhouse, for the secondary students who were interested in joining us, or knowing more about who we are and what we do. Some of us seniors also went on a fortnight of house visits, where we met with individual members and their families for a casual vis-a-vis of sorts.

Usually, we try to meet every 2 to 3 months at choir members' homes for a short choir gathering, the occassional makan session, and sometimes for a short spiritual input.
